Here come the holiday snapshots!

Just a few boring shots taken with my point and shot camera in Phoenix whilst I was there on holiday last week. This is the view from our back yard. The boat kinda shows how tranquil the place is. Nearly every house on the lake has a small electric boat. The lake is man made of course and quite small but it takes about an hour to go round the whole area and look at all the houses and wave at other boats on the water. 

I never get over how beautiful the sky looks most nights as the sun sets.

These houses below aren't in our gated community but very near by, and I couldn't decide if I loved their Christmas lights or thought they were a bit too much and tacky.

One of the first places we go to once we arrive here, is Safeways for food and the Dollar Tree next door for trashy bits that we just can't resist. (Kelly, I bought 5 jigsaws this time, as they were only a Dollar each and thought they may not be there for long!)

What I love about Phoniex and something that I never tire of seeing are the cactus. All the trees here had orange lanterns hanging from them which you can't see too clearly from this shot but they looked really good.

And finally, our favourite diner that serve the most amazing milkshakes!
