I travelled with my new Sony Cybershot point and shoot camera the last time I went to Arizona. I took as many shots as I could to get used to using it, and know its strengths and limitations.
On a sunny day and bright conditions the photo quality is excellent! This photo below is probably my favourite shot I've taken in Arizona and shows why I love the place. I'm not totally confident with the night time settings and it appears to have no manual override, but for the money I paid, I'm happy.

Ooooooooh, Joey... these are magnificent!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to spend much time using my bigger camera this past year, but I can tell you ISO is a big thing and I need to learn more about it. I took a small batch of photos yesterday and they were horrible! The ISO setting was not right for the cloudy day we had and I just picked up the camera really quick and started taking shots. I need to get back to practicing, since I seem to have forgotten everything I was TRYING to learn.
They are amazing! Love the duck one and the umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteOh and your titles always make me grin ;)
ReplyDeletewow, these pictures are amazing
ReplyDeleteEven though your new camera takes great photos, I credit much of that to the one behind the camera. You have a real eye for choosing your shots and perspectives. I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots! I love taking pictures and have been saving for a nice camera. In the meantime, I'll enjoy your shots!
ReplyDeleteWow. And wow again.
ReplyDeleteThose are really gorgeous pics!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, Joey, I LOVE the Desert and particularly all the BEAUTIFUL Plants....The Sequaro's are especially magnificent---and when you realize how many years it takes for them to be as big as they often are....It's rather miraculous!
ReplyDeleteThese are WONDERFUL WONDERFUL Pictures, my dear Joey.....Oh, do take more when you are next in your lovely American get-away-home....! It's selfish of me, but I dearly love visiting the Arizona landscape, through you....!
Excellent!! I am loving the ducks.
ReplyDeleteWhy do cacti always make me snigger in an inappropriate way?
Sx
Gorgeous shots, Joey. I especially love the cacti and the mountains. I'm basking in the sun right now. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done - just gorgeous! You make me want to get my camera out - I've taken to using my iPhone camera feature.
