Designer Jake Philips has taken inspiration from amethyst geodes to create this mirrored marvel. The seam on the Stellar Table, which runs across the middle of the unit, is made from 900 angled mirrors. If you'd like to own it, it will cost you £11,000 and is limited to 25 editions.

I love the plant sculptures, especially the fish! Someday I will see all the seasonal displays at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. (which is what this reminds me of, in a way...)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing Kelly. If we ever go back to Vegas, which I hope we do, I want to go to the Bellagio and see these displays. Plus I want to have a meal in the restaurant in the Stratosphere. Have you done that? Apparently the views are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI remember visiting the Stratosphere (and winning money!) some years ago, but don't think we went up to the top. I'm sure it is a spectacular view! (I'm afraid of heights, so I might have trouble)
ReplyDeleteThey had just switched to the Summer display when we were at the Bellagio in 2012. I'm thinking there are five in all: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Chinese New Year. I would love to be there at Christmas.

ReplyDeleteThe table... it looks great in the photo, but anything that showed my image every time I got near it... doesn't need to live in my house. LOL! The regular mirror is bad enough.
How long would that take to do the plant sculptures? My brain hurts just looking at the table, sorry ;)
