Christmas 2023

I know no one comes to this blog anymore, and why should they when I never post here? But I just wanted to add some photos. I had to close my other blog for reasons I can't go into here, I didn't want to, but certain things happened, and I had no choice. My life has changed but it some ways it's just the same. I did manage to wrap up a few presents for a couple of family members that appreciate my tacky efforts.

I also did a couple of diamond drill wine bags for people that were hosting us over Christmas. Surprisingly they always go down well.

I also received some amazing gifts from my family. My younger daughter is now engaged and her partner bought me the Chicago Bulls shirt and the stud earrings. Seems he knows me quite well already!

If there is anyone out there that reads this blog I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and although I don't celebrate new years, I hope 2024 is a good one for you!

  2. I am so glad to see this post - and blown away (as usual) by your present wrapping skills. And your gifts - given and received. I hope that the New Year is kind to you and yours.

  3. There is NOTHING tacky about your beautiful gift wrapping skills! I am always amazed at what you can do! Looks like you got a fab haul of gifts yourself this year! And congrats to the engaged couple -- I hope they'll be very happy together!

  4. I hadn't realised you closed the other blog but I have missed you! I hope everything is ok.
Great gift wrapping, as usual. Congrats to the new couple :)

  5. I'm late to the party! I don't use a reader anymore, so I didn't know you were posting here again. Thanks for letting me know. :D This post is so typically "you" and I love it! The puzzles you got look fun and colorful. I'm currently working one I got for Christmas that is fairly difficult: Godzilla movie posters (original Japanese).
Congratulations on the engagement (is your granddaughter excited?) and I look forward to seeing more posts here in the future.

  6. Lovely to see you all here!

Kelly I may even post a few finished jigsaws here. It probably will be a pretty "lightweight" blog with nothing too heavy, but it's nice to have somewhere to add bits and pieces throughout the year! My Granddaughter hasn't expressed an opinion. Lol. Actually I haven't asked. Haha.
