Ebay art

I thought I'd share some of the images I've created over the years for items I've sold on ebay. There are far too many to include them all so I've just picked out a few. Sometimes I buy stuff purely to resell, like the cat plate and the Ben Sherman wallet, other things are second hand like the Sean John jacket and caps. Quite often my partner has been given free gifts like the Heals candle and football scarf.

A few times other sellers have pinched my photos to use themselves and ebay don't really do anything to stop them, so now I try to put a watermark on them like the one you can see below. The roses on this picture where created in picmonkey.

Often I'll print out a sheet of A4 paper with a design or logo on it, and just lay the item on top of it and photograph it like that. Like this one below.

Others I put together using photoshop.

Putting your item on a piece of silver metallic cardboard can create great results, like the cap below.

So that's just a small collection, but I hope it gives you an idea of what I do to promote my listings on ebay.

  1. With artistry like that, I suspect your items don't last long.

  7. My favourite is the Ben Sherman one. printing the company logo on a pice of paper and using it as background is inspired

  8. Very cool on the stuff, but not cool on the stealing of photos.
