What has 600,000 pieces, reaches 40ft-high and welcomes travellers as they jump off the Eurostar? It’s the world’s tallest Lego Christmas tree.
Unveiled in the main concourse of St Pancras Station last week, the festive construction took two months to build and now dominates the shop-lined thoroughfare.
Children from Edith Neville Primary School in Camden and Copenhagen Primary School in Islington helped put the tree together, along with the Harpenden Explorer Scouts.
The successful construction is the latest piece of good news for the Danish toy-maker that announced a 25 per cent increase in its half year sales earlier in the year. Their success despite difficult times for retailers, has been put down to a return by parents to familiar brands they know and trust.
Duncan Titmarsh, the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional, places the star on top of the LEGO Christmas Tree

Now THAT is definitely "coolness captured"!!!
